DIY Chip Clips

I've been really crafty lately. One of the crafts I've made is DIY chip clips. You know, the expensive ones that are hard to close and sometimes get thrown away? Ya, well, now you can say good bye to them and make your own! They are so cute and great for gifts. Here is the tutorial:

You will need:

Wooden Clips
Scrapbook Paper
Modge Podge (or some type of finishing glue)
Scissors
Pencil
Foam Brush

Step 1: Choose your paper. Craft stores have lots of options to choose from.
Step 2: Line up the wooden clip with the edge of the paper.
Step 3: Using a pencil, outline the clip and cut it out.
Step 4: Using a foam brush, cover the back of the strip of paper with the finishing glue (aka Modge Podge). Then, place on clip and using finger, smooth out top of paper to get rid of wrinkles. Top with another coat of glue, set aside to dry. Once dried, repeat onto the other side.
 Here is the finished product!

Here is another craft I did a couple weeks ago. It is a long distance friendship mug I made for my friend who moved to Florida. She gets the Ohio mug and I get the Florida mug.
The back says "No matter the miles that keeps us apart, best friends don't count the distance, friendship is measured by the heart."
